Investing in Geothermal

You're taking a great first step by considering your options to invest in a geothermal system with King Energy.

Imagine your home in which the temperature is always comfortable, yet the heating and cooling system is out of sight. That system performs efficiently but does not require extensive maintenance or knowledge on your part.

The humidity is just right, the air smells fresh; you can hear the birds chirping and the wind rustling lazily through the trees. The home shares energy with the earth very similar to the way the roots of the trees exchange the essentials of life to their leaves and branches. Sounds delightful and comfortable, doesn’t it?

Geothermal heating and cooling makes that vision a reality. Geothermal HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) brings your home in harmony with the earth beneath, taking advantage of stable underground temperatures to provide the most efficient heating in the winter and cooling in the summer.

Geothermal has been around for 10,000 years.  Archaeological evidence shows that the first human use of geothermal resources in North America occurred then with the settlement of Paleo-Indians at the hot springs. The springs served as a source of warmth and cleansing, their minerals as a source of healing.

King Energy has been installing geothermal systems since 1983 - as a matter of fact -geothermal is all we do.  We are an industry leader.  We have the experience to know what will work for your home.

What We Need From You

A conversation

Investing in a geothermal system is a process, begin by giving us a call.  We will want to know some of the basic information such as, your address, contact information, when your home was built, how long you have lived in your home, square footage, type or style of your home, what got you thinking about geothermal, your current heating and cooling situations and distribution.

We understand that very home is different.  There is no "one size fits all" kind of system.  We are here to answer your questions - so ask away! We think that communication is paramount when considering geothermal. It's a major investment into the quality of your life.  It is important to us to learn what you are your short-term and long-term goals for your home.  For instance, are you thinking of finishing that basement? Are you thinking of re-selling in the future? How unsatisfied are you with your current home comfort level?

For existing homes -and to ensure you get the most out of your investment- King Energy will schedule to visit your home.  We won't have you taking pictures, measuring for us, or trying to figure out what kind of duct work you actually have, that's what we do. And we love it!

What to Expect From King Energy

Professional Honest Respectful Service

It may sound goofy, but we treat each of our geothermal systems like they are part of our own family. Scot and his team design a system that reflects his personal integrity.  You can expect an upfront truthful and authentic explanation of your homes HVAC system - all based off our decades of installing thousands of geothermal systems.

From the ground-up, King Energy will design a full geothermal system specific to your home to efficiently provide you consistent comfort in one green system.  What does this mean?  Geothermal is not just providing you a quote for a heat pump and digging some loops.  There are many factors that are involved in the design of your new heating and cooling method.  Your house is a system, thus it must function and work as one smooth unit.  If the loops are too short, the heat pump will not run efficiently.  If your house is drafty or under insulated, your heat loss will be greater.  If your duct work is undersized or inefficient, the airflow the heat pump produces simply won't get "there."  All of this, and much more, is engineered in the design proposal to ensure your home performs its best.
