How Much Does a Geothermal System Cost?

The 8 Questions to Know to Ask

The number one question I get asked the most in the geothermal business is: “How Much Will a Geothermal System Cost Me?” I wish it were as easy as looking at a price tag on a gallon of milk, but it is more complicated -and definitely much more interesting – than a gallon of milk...                                                            READ MORE

What People Say

Scot and King Energy communicated exceptionally well with us. Scot has a way of explaining everything in such an easy understandable manner.  I didn't feel dismissed - actually, Scot has so much knowledge about geothermal and his systems that I was always super impressed and enjoyed every conversation we had.

In my experience with contractors that puts King Energy in the top 1%. We are very satisfied customers.

Couple at Home
Robert and Sandra G.
                                   -Mystic, CT

Bob and Sandra installed a 5-ton heat pump into their 3200sqf ocean view home.  With a tight home and low heat load they were able to receive over $14,000 in their tax return.  And they were able to secure a low interest loan with the help of Scot and the Connecticut Green Bank.

You're NOT just another house to heat and cool with King Energy. I researched several companies and decided on King Energy because of Scot.

I instantly knew I wasn't" just another number" to him.

While I dreaded even thinking about replacing my system, learning from Scot made the experience easy and-honestly enjoyable!  He walked me through the entire process from the beginning phone call; through the initial visit and well-drilling process through the installation to the tax credit and loan application.

And now I enjoy setting my cooling to 62 degrees or my heating to 98 degrees whenever I want!

Maria C  -Clinton, CT

King Energy installed a 3-ton heat pump into her 2000 sqf ranch house removing her aging oil furnace and broken air conditioner unit.  Even though the house had existing duct work, Scot (and from the Energy Audit) confirmed it was undeniably leaky and would be expensive to fix.  Scot explained that the geothermal system would not perform efficiently. Knowing her options, Maria decided it was in her best interest  (and in the interest of increasing her home value) to replace her duct work.
