Once you know you are building, give us a call!  It is definitely a process and a lot happens and changes when you build a home.  We are here every step of the way.

Communicate with your architect and builder that you are exploring and considering to install a geothermal system to heat and cool your new home.

Research, Learn and Decide 

There are lots of details and decisions to make regarding your heating and cooling - all of these choices hold a price tag, so you may find yourself compromising.​

 

Do not skimp when it comes to insulation. How tight your home is has a direct and significant correlation on the effectiveness of your heating and cooling system.  Check out our Blog Post on The Power of Heat Loss to learn more. In our experience, spending a little more to ensure you have a low heat loss, will save you money in the future. 

What We Need From You

Contact us to let us know you are planning to build.  We can share with you our experiences and offer many insider resources and tips that will pave the way to a smooth journey in installing our geothermal system for your new home.  While there is no need for us to visit an empty cleared lot, we love to learn when you are beginning the site clearing and foundation work. 

Once you have architectural plans please share them with us.  This will then begin the Engineering phase so we can prepare an accurate proposal for you. 

What You Can Expect From King Energy

Once we have spoken and have your final detailed architectural plans for your new home, we will Engineer the heating and cooling system.  You can expect to received a full professional proposal that includes heat gains and cool gain calculations.  (Most companies do not provide this level of information).

All we do is geothermal.  You can expect a full service geothermal installation.  Our team will work with you and your building team to ensure your heating and cooling needs are met.  Our team coordinates all well-drilling, ductwork and electrical as pertaining to the geothermal system.
